PRETRIB RAPTURE - HIDDEN FACTS !
How can the “rapture” be “imminent”? Acts 3:21 says that Jesus “must” stay in heaven (He is now there with the Father) “until the times of restitution of all things” which includes, says Scofield, “the restoration of the theocracy under David’s Son” which obviously can’t begin before or during Antichrist’s reign. Since Jesus must personally participate in the rapture, and since He can’t even leave heaven before the tribulation ends, the rapture therefore cannot take place before the end of the trib! Paul explains the “times and the seasons” (I Thess. 5:1) of the catching up (I Thess. 4:17) as the “day of the Lord” (5:2) (which FOLLOWS the posttrib sun/moon darkening - Matt. 24:29; Acts 2:20) WHEN “sudden destruction” (5:3) of the wicked occurs! (If the wicked are destroyed before or during the trib, who would be left alive to serve the Antichrist?) Paul also ties the change-into-immortality “rapture” (I Cor. 15:52) to the posttrib end of “death” (15:54)! (Will death be ended before or during the trib?) If anyone wonders how long pretrib rapturism has been taught, he or she can Google “Pretrib Rapture Diehards.” Many are unaware that before 1830 all Christians had always viewed I Thess. 4’s “catching up” as an integral part of the final second coming to earth. In 1830 it was stretched forward and turned into a separate coming of Christ. To further strengthen their novel view, which the mass of evangelical scholars rejected throughout the 1800s, pretrib teachers in the early 1900s began to stretch forward the “day of the Lord” (what Darby and Scofield never dared to do) and hook it up with their already-stretched-forward “rapture.” Many leading evangelical scholars still weren’t convinced of pretrib, so pretrib teachers then began teaching that the “falling away” of II Thess. 2:3 is really a pretrib rapture (the same as saying that the “rapture” in 2:3 must happen before the “rapture” ["gathering"] in 2:1 can happen - the height of desperation!). Clearly they are being kept from some time period? What period?
Also, this scripture in 1 John is this the same hour?
1 John 2:18Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour.
Also, Since a day to the Lord is like a thousand years does that mean an hour is 42 years?
1,000years/24hours=42 years
There is a rapture and you should believe in it because it will occur, however, the question is 'when is the rapture'?
The Bible clearly teaches that the second coming of Jesus Christ is after the final 3 1/2 years (Great Tribulation, Matthew 24:21-31).
Revelation 3:10 is referencing the final three and one half years before the Battle of Armageddon, i.e., the Great Tribulation (Matthew 24:21).
1 John 2:18 is referencing what will occur from the time of the writing of 1 John and the final hour. There have been many 'antichrist's' since the time of the Apostle John (example Antiochus Ephanes) and there will be one more (Revelation 13) before the end of this age, i.e., end time.
Typically, the Bible will interpret itself, i.e., look at Revelation 17. The beginning of the chapter gives some symbolism and then later on in the same chapter, the symbolism is interpreted. The same goes for days, however, it is interesting that you bring up the hour to 42 year ratio which is the number of years that have passed since the 1967 'Six Day War', i.e., Yom Kippur. We are truly in the last hour/end time!
So in Rev if the hour is the last 3.5 years we will be spared from it? Mid-trib rapture?

Read Luke 21:36. This is the solution for protection for those born again believers of Jesus Christ.
The Bible does not teach pre or mid tribulation rapture. There is only post tribulation rapture. Notice when the second coming of Jesus Christ occurs in Matthew 24:29; immediately after the Great Tribulation.
I feel like we are dancing here. As a christian the only way to be be spared from the hour that revelation 3:10 talks about is to pray that we will be able to escape or be spared until death or the gathering of the elect?
